What does a "tune up" for a mountain bike entail and how much should it cost? Looking to service a five-year-old Trek mountain bike. Nothing appears to be wrong with the bike but the break pads are a bit worn and certian gears rattle a little bit. Thanks!

just done mine myself, don`t know wot a shop would call a `tune up` but i`m sure they`ll charge for it.

check these sites out, for a guide to `doing it yourself`?..if you think your up for it, and save some money in the process Wink

The club uses BEELINE bikes in Oxford for service of our club bikes,I have just had my Orange P7 serviced there. Very Happy
